Last year, South Plantation had a similar bomb threat called in. On April 19, 2013, someone called 911 saying there was a bomb located in a student locker. That also turned out to be a hoax.
This is the second time in two weeks a Broward school has had to be evacuated over a bomb threat and the third in three months.
Last Monday, Nova High School was evacuated over a bomb threat that turned out to be a discarded book bag left in the school parking lot.
In April, a bomb threat was called into South Plantation High. That turned out to be a hoax.
