Less than a year after he lost his UFC heavyweight title to former NFLer Brock Lesnar, Couture had another hard loss last weekend to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in a fight MMA experts are calling one of the best of all time.
But even after a string of losses, the 46-year-old fighter can find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Or, in this case, an entire gold company -- one of the largest in the world: Pompano Beach-based cash4gold.
In a news release that was just sent out, the company announced that it is sponsoring the mature MMAer and his charity, the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation, which -- according to the website -- honors veterans of America's armed forces.

For his part, Couture seems to be focused on fighting. He told ESPN he'll probably be lightening his load - moving to a lighter weight class:
"I haven't really looked at the cards and the shows that they have. What's on the schedule, I don't know, but I'm especially leaning towards dropping down. I'm pushing in weight. It would be easy for me to make 205, and there's more interesting fights there right now."
