No. 36: A Slice from Pizza Rustica

Staring down the display of huge, square slices at any of Pizza Rustica's South Florida locations is like looking into a pizza rainbow. There are seemingly endless varieties

of interesting pizzas with fresh toppings. Who would have thought

Spanish pizza with peas and Serrano ham would work? It does. There's

also chicken Parmesan, campagnolia with fresh sausage and peppers,

spinach and blue cheese, and perhaps the best Hawaiian pizza around.

Slices are cheap and did we mention really big? One is usually enough

to do us in along with a cold beer -- another perk at these late-night

pizzerias.
