Allen West Serves Burgers at Five Guys on Saturday

Congressman Allen West has done a lot of crazy things in his short political career (and we're not even talking about policies). He's been to oh-so-many tea party rallies, went diving with the flag, and has been photographed with both Donald Trump and his hair. But we haven't seen West flip burgers.....

Congressman Allen West has done a lot of crazy things in his short political career (and we're not even talking about policies).

He's been to oh-so-many tea party rallies, went diving with the flag, and has been photographed with both Donald Trump and his hair. But we haven't seen West flip burgers... until now.

This Saturday, July 16, West will be at Five Guys Burgers and Fries at Cypress Creek Station from noon to 1 p.m. to serve burgers to 15 mentors and mentees from the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Broward County, as well as the public (we're assuming non-tea party members are also welcome at this shindig).

West won't actually be flipping burgers, but he will be behind the counter taking orders, so feel free to get a delicious burger and hear him speak about "setting the economic conditions for small business success." We're really not too sure whether this is just a photo-op, a campaign stunt, or a nice gesture to feed some kids, but we are guessing the most popular beverage of the day will be... iced tea.
