Ben & Jerry's, the Vermont-based ice cream known company for its celebrity-inspired flavors (remember Schweddy Balls?) has announced a new flavor named after late night's brightest star, Jimmy Fallon.
The ice cream, aptly named the Tonight Dough, was introduced last week during the season-two premiere of Fallon's Tonight Show. Ben & Jerry's cofounders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield served up the frosty treat, a combination of caramel and chocolate ice creams with chocolate cookie swirls, chocolate chip cookie dough, and peanut butter cookie dough, to the live audience.

Though the flavor is still difficult to come by (as many Ben & Jerry's flavors are), we received a pint in the mail to try. We proceeded to tear it open (hey -- duty calls). The top of the ice cream has a thin layer of cookie crumble "fairy dust." Dig in and you'll find a massive swirl of cookie dough in the center.
The Tonight Dough, while delicious, also promotes patience. Nuking the pint results in a hunk of cookie dough surrounded by ice cream soup. It is only by letting the ice cream soften naturally that you get the full experience.
The sweetest part of all? All of Fallon's proceeds from the sales of the Tonight Dough will be donated to the charity SeriousFun Children's Network. Founded by Paul Newman, SeriousFun provides children with serious illnesses and their families with a free camp experience designed to build confidence, independence, and resilience.
The Tonight Dough is available at Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops (including Sawgrass Mills), although a call to the Seminole Hard Rock location said they're getting a new shipment of the flavor in today, noting, "It's very popular." If your local market doesn't carry the flavor in pints, ask your store manager to place a special order.
