Boca's Sybarite Pig to Feature Oklahoma's Prairie Artisan Ales This Coming Monday

The creations of Chase Healey will finally be available to us down here in South Florida in the form of a Prairie Artisan Ales takeover of the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton on Monday, April 28. The Oklahoma brewery has been expanding lately, having opened a location in Tulsa after operating as a gypsy brewer out of a facility in Krebs, Oklahoma, since its founding.

The Midwestern brewery was labeled a "Brewery to watch" in Draft magazine last summer. Prairie Artisan Ales has clearly made a name for itself with the saison style of beer.

It's even done a collaboration brew with Florida's king of the saison, Bob Sylvester, and his Saint Somewhere Brewing Co.

Even so, expect quite a few other interesting styles to be available on draft. They are to include Prairie Artisan Ales/Evil Twin Bible Belt (an imperial stout aged on coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans & chili peppers), Prairie Artisan Ales BOMB! (another highly rated imperial stout), Prairie Artisan Ales Weisse (a flavorful 4.5% soured wheat beer), and Prairie Artisan Ales Birra (a light farmhouse ale).

In addition, there will be a few bottle selections with Prairie Artisan Ales Birra, Prairie Artisan Ales Puncheon (fermented in oak barrels), and Toccalmatto/Prairie Artisan Ales Okie Matilde (a Brett Belgian ale).

Owner and craft beer enthusiast Daniel Naumko wanted to bring Prairie in because of his "great deal of admiration" for Healey, someone who "goes for it based on what they love and not how much money they'll make."

"These guys had a passion for really interesting beer and they've perfected their craft to make Prairie Artisan Ales a world class product. We're fans."

Become one too this Monday, when the beers go on sale. Fans of the visual arts should take note of the art style the brewery uses for bottles: stunning and mesmerizing, hopefully just like their beers.
