Your weekends are about to get crafty with a duo of brewery anniversary parties - and they're being thrown by neighbors.

First up this coming weekend is the fourth-anniversary party at Due South Brewing Company on Saturday, May 14. Only four years ago, Due South opened its doors in a sleepy industrial warehouse just off Gateway Boulevard. In that span, they've grown incredibly, began distributing cans, won awards like Best Large Brewery in Florida, and helped push the brewing scene of South Florida forward.

From noon to 11 p.m. the brewery will celebrate all of that and more as it throws opens the doors to pour some limited-release beers, including some timed releases at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m. Some keg teases include Mariana Trench and Java Trench. Early birds get a crack at buying bottles of One Eyed Tiki Porter (it's got coconut!). MV My Food Truck & Outside the Box will be bringing their mobile kitchens onsite, so there's really no excuse at all to leave the premises.

Coming up the weekend after, on May 21, Copperpoint Brewing Company will be turning 1. Awwww... *pinches cheek*. Even though it's been open only a year, the newcomer has gone head-on into making killer beers, winning top awards at the United States Beer Tasting Championship.

From noon to 8 p.m. the brewery, just off High Ridge Road in that same Boynton industrial area, will be kind to your wallets with $4 beers all day long.

Because they're gregarious people, they've brought in some local friends, including 26 Degrees Brewing Company, Barrel of Monks, Devour Brewing Company, Due South Brewing, Funky Buddha Brewery, Saltwater Brewery, Dixie Grill and Brewery, and more.

As for food, the truck-tastic culinary skills of the Bistro, Rolling Chefs, and Spring In Roll Out will be available for putting food in your belly, which is always a good idea with $4 beers.

Both events are open to the public with no cover charge or admission fee.
