Chick-fil-A is much more than a sandwich. It's an obsession. Especially when a new Chick-fil-A opens, bringing with it the promise of free food for a year.

Chick-fil-A opens Thursday, June 23, at 15990 SW 41st St. in Davie at 6:00 a.m. At that time,100 people in line will each receive a free meal card, good for one Chick-fil-A meal (Chick-fil-A sandwich, waffle fries, and drink) per week for 52 weeks (you didn't think you'd get to eat for free every single day for a year, did ya?) It's still a good deal for a night's cam pout. Camp out?

Yup! According to the website, "An overnight stay is required to keep your spot in line." Bathroom breaks are allowed (thanks, Chick-fil-A). There are a bunch of other rules too (see them all here).

By the way, if there are more than 100 people in line at 6 a.m., all those people enter a raffle. So it's not the first 100 people at Chick-fil-A; it's the first 100 raffle tickets called at 6 a.m... or something. Seems like Chick-fil-A wants to give everyone a fair shake. Or cause a commotion in the parking lot.

Chick-fil-A will be on hand to give out prizes, like Chick-fil-A gift packs, coupons, and free Chick-fil-A. And let's face it... as long as it doesn't rain, it's fun to camp out in a parking lot dressed as a cow. Here's a video of guys rapping about Chick-fil-A:
