Need an awesome holiday gift for the craft-beer-loving freak in the family? Partnering with Tampa-based newspaper Creative Loafing, Cigar City Brewing is auctioning off a massive bottle of beer on eBay.

The winning bidder will be invited to Tampa to sample all of the brewery's current stock of barrel-aged beer with brewmaster Wayne Wambles (pictured right) and choose which one he'd like to put in the 2.37-gallon (9-liter) bottle when it's ready for bottling.

The winner can also choose the day when he'd like to come visit. And because beer tasting is so much work (it really is), the brewery will also provide a little lunch or dinner to keep the winner going.

When the beer is finished aging, the winner must come back to the brewery to pick it up and personally fill the bottle himself (no shipping).

Cigar City values the bottle of beer between $120 and $240, depending on which beer the winner chooses. But tasting beer with Cigar City brewmaster Wayne Wambles is, of course, priceless.

The bidding started off at $0.99 on December 5 and has ballooned to $1,950 at 52 bids. The auction has less than ten hours to go, so you better hurry and bid.
