No one likes a soggy pizza -- especially Charlie.

And if you never want limp crust to happen to you, Island City Pizza has a solution. The self-proclaimed "Home of the Uncut Pizza" ensures you'll never bite into a floppy slice again.

But why is uncut better?

According to Anthony and Shannon of Island City Pizza, when the pies stay uncut, the oils and juices from cooking remain on the pizza -- not the bottom of the box -- until you're ready to cut and eat.

At the very least, you can keep all that grease off the inside of your car, front of your shirt, and the countertops at your home or office. Just make sure you have a good pie-cutter at home (if not, you can even purchase one at Island City for $4.99).

Sound like a good deal? We thought so. That's why, if you act now, you can receive $8 for $20 worth of food and drink by participating in our Deal of the Day.

Not sure what to order? Try one of Island's specialty pizzas for $18.99, like the Caprese, topped with sliced mozzarella, thin-sliced ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh garlic, and olive oil. Or go for our personal favorite, the Island City Special, topped with Island's award-winning sauce on a thin-crust pizza with pesto, fresh garlic, spinach, and mozzarella (also $18.99).

With 18 choice toppings and free local area delivery, there's more than enough reason to take Anthony and Shannon on their word that everyone needs to try at least one of their uncut pizzas.

So what are you waiting for? This deal -- and the opportunity to show off your awesome cutting skills -- won't last forever...
