Just so happens Charlie knows where to find the "Biggest Balls" in South Florida.

Dirty minds, out of the gutter, please -- we're talking meat here, people.

Interested? Be sure to bring your appetite for homemade Italian to this Margate restaurant, where you'll find the best "balls" around.

Trattoria Bella Cibo goes through as many as 700 of its mighty meatballs each week. The popular appetizer of two, ten-ounce meatballs is served drenched in house-made marinara and topped with a scoop of fresh ricotta cheese alongside focaccia flats ($11).

With such an impressive presentation, it's needless to say its motto, "We have the biggest balls in town," is well-deserved. It's also just one of many reasons Trattoria Bella Cibo is our Deal of the Day, meaning if you act now, you'll receive $20 to $40 worth of food and drink.

But the meatballs aren't the only dish Bella Cibo should be proud to serve.

Chef and owner Thomas Valdes' menu is all about price and portion: great deals on heaping helpings, from the all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner buffets on Wednesdays to supersized dinner salads. Everything at this Italian eatery is big -- big on choices, big on bold flavors -- and most important, big on giving you a bang for your buck.

It's impressive considering that the entire menu, which encompasses everything Italian, including calzones and pizza to traditional pasta and main course dishes, is all about serving the freshest fare possible.

At Trattoria Bella Cibo, there are no freezers, and that means no freezing. Everything is made daily, from dressings, soups, and sauces to the mile-long list of decadent desserts.

For starters, we love the platters of calamari frito served three ways, including scampi-style, sautéed with hot peppers, white wine, lemon, and toasted garlic ($11).

And just because it's Italian doesn't mean you're stuck with pasta for your main plate. The Snapper Bella Cibo ($21) is another house favorite, a seasoned potato-encrusted snapper fillet sautéed golden brown and served with garden leeks, Gorgonzola, and a tomato bruschetta cream sauce.

Make it a sweet ending with Trattoria's famous cheesecake or the chef's own recipe for white chocolate tiramisu. There's also a two-for-one happy hour on everything (that includes the full liquor bar and wine list) Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. to close.

But don't let this deal pass you by. Stop in today and you'll see for yourself why every day is a bella giornata at Trattoria Bella Cibo.
