The champions of our Food Town Throwdown contest to see which local city has the best dining scene has reached the final round. It's Delray Beach versus West Palm Beach/Lake Worth in our final showdown. The winner here earns the rights to talk smack, brag, and generally boast that its city has the fairest food scene in the land.

Before the voting begins, here's a breakdown of last week's results:

West Palm Beach/Lake Worth: 453 votes
Western Broward County: 251 votes

All

the great ethnic dining of Western Broward just couldn't compete with

the glitz of Clematis, chains of CityPlace, and authenticity of

downtown Lake Worth. West Palm and Lake Worth now go against Delray

Beach, the city that was our number-one seed at the beginning of this contest

and brought in more votes than any other city.

Delray Beach: 1,007 votes
Fort Lauderdale: 154 votes

Fort

Lauderdale may be the biggest South Florida city north of Miami, but

that didn't stop it from getting trounced by Delray. Atlantic Avenue's

hopping dining scene now squares off against its neighbors to the north.
