Dine Out Lauderdale is a promotion aimed at locals and tourists alike that attempts to tackle that very issue.
The concept behind Dine Out Lauderdale is simple: Save money on dining out at high-end restaurants. Now in its ninth year, the annual promotion allows patrons to eat at some of the area's most popular establishments for an affordable price. The six-week program returns this fall — this year with an earlier and extended timeframe — offering visitors more opportunities to save and savor.
Rather than kicking off in October, the annual promotion will start one month earlier, running from September 1 through October 12 at more than 35 participating Broward County restaurants.

In addition to the Dine Out promotion, diners can combine these savings with other destination-wide promotions this September, including the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau's "See You in September" program — a buy two, get the third night free deal at participating luxury hotels. Visitors and residents can also take advantage of a two-for-one savings card with special offers at more than 70 attractions throughout South Florida, added Grossman, with special pricing and deals on spas, nature tours, boat tours, and various seaside activities.

As with years past, the 2015 Dine Out Lauderdale roster features several new restaurants including American Vintage at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, the newly renovated Shooters Waterfront, a new Italian eatery known as Scolapasta, and the beachfront hot-spot S3 along with its buzzy Las Olas sister establishment, YOLO.
