The folks at Due South Brewing Company in Boynton Beach discovered that hosting food trucks every Friday night was such a good idea, that they decided to have them on the weekends too.

From 5 p.m. 'til 9:30 p.m. this Saturday, On The Slide will be the first food truck on scene with its gourmet tacos and grilled hamburgers.

Seems that football season makes people hungry. With college football on Saturdays, and the NFL regular season broadcasts on Sundays, Due South will start hosting food trucks on Sundays starting at 1 p.m., serving to about 9 or 9:30.

Owners Mike and Jodi Halker love having the food trucks on site because the brewery doesn't serve food. You can also BYOG: bring your own grub.

Starting August 31, Due South will be hosting two food trucks instead of one. Four different trucks are scheduled to stop at the brewery at various times; see the Facebook page for details.

If you visit the brewery, be sure to ask for a tour. They are free, but for $10, you can get a more extensive tour that comes with a pint glass and beer samples.

Due South has two tap rooms, each featuring the brewery's eight beers. Beers cost $3.50 for a 12-ounce pour and $4.50 for a 16-ounce pour. But if you catch happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, you get a dollar off each beer.

Beer flights cost $5.50 and include three-ounce samples of four different beers. You can sample the additional four beers for a dollar each.
