Eat St. films Mojo on the Go.
Cooking Channel's Eat St. must really love South Florida. And what's not to love? Miles of white sand beaches, coconut palms, beautiful people scantily dressed, and dozens of food trucks to film for their fast-paced show.
Clearly on a food-truck bender, the Eat St. crew came out to Dania Beach yesterday afternoon to film SFT Bistro for their upcoming fourth season. Chef/owners Oren Bass and Zachary Schwartz welcomed a steady stream of customers to the truck, serving dozens of grilled chicken sandwiches, Cuban cowboys, and truffle fries to hungry munchers -- while a camera recorded them for posterity.
Hungry for more SFT Bistro food? The truck serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays at at this easy-to-reach warehouse park at 1920 Tigertail Blvd. in Dania Beach.
The SFT episode will air sometime in the winter; check back with Clean Plate Charlie for exact air dates. There's still a chance to watch Eat St. in action (and get a little face time on one of their shows), but you'll have to travel to Miami to do it. The crew is filming Purple People Eatery today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 770 NE 125th St. in North Miami.
The SFT crew are ready for their close-up.
One of the perks... getting fanned before filming. Maybe one day we'll get an air-conditioned trailer.
