5. Gingerbread Party at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale

This Saturday, November 29, join the Ritz-Carlton culinary team as they construct and decorate a gingerbread house and gingerbread sailboat, Lady Lauderdale. The two workshop events will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the hotel lobby. Mini chef's hats and aprons will be provided to all guests. The chef will supply each family with their own pre-built house, candy, icing, and a box to take it all home. There will be complimentary cookies, hot chocolate, and cider available. Each house station is designed for 1 to 2 people to decorate, and the cost to attend is $60 (plus tax, per house).

4. Black Friday Brunch at DBA/Cafe

Fort Lauderdale's DBA/Cafe will be hosting its first annual Black Friday Bunch this Friday, November 28. The restaurant will be featuring its traditional Sunday brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., complete with bottomless mimosas. Extra special for Black Friday: the special board will have several new treats you'll want to keep an eye on. Like waffle battered chicken wings, and a leftovers spin with a "day after Thanksgiving" sandwich -- just in case you didn't get enough yesterday.

3. Stache Bash at Stache 1920s Drinking Den

On Sunday, November 30, Stache will be hosting a Stache Bash to support men's health awareness in conjunction with Movember. Starting at 8 p.m., a $10 donation will get you a complimentary Ketel One craft cocktail, with all proceeds going to the Movember Foundation. Of course, no Movember party would be complete without an official mustache contest. Here, you'll have a chance to win $500 for the event, sponsored by Ketel One and Filthy Food. And bring money for the photo booth: it will let you capture all those mustached memories before you go and shave it all off.

2. Due South Brewing Co. Black Friday Celebration

Due South Brewing Co. will host its third annual Black Friday Celebration on November 28. In addition to the many beers already on tap, the brewery will feature limited release dark beers tapped throughout the day. Many of these beers will only be available at the brewery and some are so limited that only one keg was made. Brewery visitors will be able to taste specialties like Mocha Stout, Peppermint Paddy, Bourbon Barrel Aged 2013 Pico Duarte (the brewery's award winning imperial stout, aged in bourbon barrels), One Eyed Tiki (a porter made with coconut), and Mexican Standoff (an imperial porter with chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and habanero peppers). Big savings will be offered at certain times throughout the day, like brewery t-shirts for $10 and buy a pint and keep the glass. Bombshell BBQ food truck will be onsite starting at noon and Poor Boys Kitchen food truck will be available for the evening. Patrons are always welcome to bring their own food or order delivery to the brewery. There is no admission fee to attend. Food & drinks must be purchased. Everyone is welcome noon to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m., you must be 21 or older to be in the brewery. No pets allowed.

1. Movember Mustache Party at Kapow! Noodle Bar

Calling all Mo-Brothas and Mo-Sistas. It's that time of year again: time for Kapow! Noodle Bar & The Dubliner's tribute and fundraiser for mankind. This year, starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, both establishments are celebrating the 4th Annual Movember Mustache Party to help raise money for prostate cancer awareness. Last year was such an amazing success, they decided to take it to a whole new level. There will be live music on two stages, and the whole shebang will be hosted by Damian Pinto, the "The Voice" and official host of Ultra Music Festival & UMF Worldwide. To keep it real, the mustache contest will be authentic. Kapow! will be following the World Beard & Moustache Championships guidelines. Best part: the raffle will be held digitally, so you can enjoy the party without any interruption.
