Whether you're hoping to score deals on drinks, looking to help homeless dogs while getting drunk, or longing to throw back some kava while watching some fierce fashion, there's something for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

5. Max's Grille 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic

Throwing back booze while on a diet is counterproductive. Drink and sweat it out all at once on a Sunday afternoon -- trust us, it'll help you feel better on Monday morning. Max's Grille is hosting it's third annual charity golf classic starting at noon. For $125 per person, it includes raffles and drinks throughout the course as well as a chance to show off those amazing plaid pants you've been storing away. It takes place at the Seagate Country Club.

4. Boozy Brunch

Beauty and the Feast Bar| Kitchen at the Atlantic Hotel is now offering a boozy brunch every Saturday morning through the summer. 2. Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Fundraiser

Most of us like drinking on a weekend. And many of us like the warm and fuzzies from assisting a good cause. Help those who help the ones who cannot help themselves -- we mean rescue dogs, for the record. On Saturday American Social is hosting a fundraiser for Abandoned Dogs of Everglades from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donate $10 and receive a complimentary cocktail on behalf of the bar.

1. Fierce Goddess Fashion Show

Everyone has a bit of fashionista in them, make your fashion dreams a reality at the Fierce Goddess Fashion Show at Mystic Water Kava Bar this Saturday. Benefitting Women in Distress of Broward County, the event features original creations from the student designers of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, new styles from local boutiques, and hand-made jewelry.
