Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate -- or better yet, a drink or three.

Whether you're hoping to get some game day action this Sunday, take a food tour in town, or eat with the animals at the zoo, there's something for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

5. Feeding South Florida Hungry Bear Fundraiser

Head to The Shops at Boca Center today from 4-8 p.m. and join the Boca Center as they support Feeding South Florida. Bring a $2 donation -- or canned food and non-perishable items -- and enjoy fun, kid-focused activities. Adults: dine at Brio's Tuscan Grill or Rocco's, or shop at Joseph's Classic Market from 4-5 p.m., and a portion of the proceeds will go to the non-profit. A free concert will take place in the courtyard from 6-8 p.m.

4. Gameday at Gulfstream

Enjoy a day at the races, and some free food. This Saturday, Gulfstream is offering students an open BBQ buffet all day, with discount beverages, a beer garden, live music, $2 wagering vouchers, racing forms, a guided tour of the property, and entries into textbook gift card drawings. To cash in on the deal, a college student ID is required. The event takes place from noon to 6:30 p.m., and there is $10 pre-registration (or $20 at the door).

3. Food Truck Safari

The food truck safari returns to the Palm Beach Zoo this Saturday, with plenty of fun, food, drink, and animal sight-seeing to go around. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and feed your inner animal at some of South Florida's best food trucks inside the zoo starting at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy live music with Steven Vincent and Juan Nealon along with exciting zookeeper talks and up-close animal encounters. Beer and wine is available for those 21 and older. Zoo admission for the Food Truck Safari is $9 adult members, $10 adult non-members, $6 child members, $7 child non-members, under 3 free. Gate proceeds and a portion of food truck sales go to support regular zoo operations.

2. Taste of Las Olas Food Tour

If you act now, there's still time to hit up each of your favorite restaurants before they become inundated with snowbirds, tourists, and out-of-towners. To get them all in one shot, experience quintessential Fort Lauderdale during a fun -- and educational -- walking tour with delicious stops along downtown's Las Olas Boulevard. Immerse yourself into the local culture as you sample and taste your way through a variety of the downtown area's favorite restaurants and gourmet shops, where you'll get exclusive tastings crafted just for the tour. You'll also get a chance to meet the people behind the food as you gain a newfound appreciation for the cultural melting pot that is Fort Lauderdale. By the end, you'll have learned a few new facts, met a few new faces, and uncovered a few new artisanal delights right in your own backyard. The tour's five food stops are equivalent to a 5-course meal, everything from olive oil and wine tastings, to charcuterie and Caribbean cuisine. The tour caters to vegetarians, but is not gluten free and vegan diets. The Taste of Las Olas Food Tour is a weekly event that takes place every Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $79 per person ($49 for children 12 and under). 1. Opening Day Grill-Off

This Sunday, join Funky Buddha for a special Opening Day Grill-Off event from noon to 6 p.m. Bid summer farewell, and celebrate the NFL opening weekend as the Miami Dolphins take on the New England Patriots, with an epic grill out party at the brewery in Oakland Park. Shack Shack Boca Raton will be on-site grilling up burgers and serving them alongside shakes and adult beer floats. Pricing will be a la carte. The brewery will also be tapping some cool beers (check the Facebook page for more info). Then sit back, relax, and watch the game on any of the big screen TVs.
