Starting July 3, The Village at Gulfstream Park is hosting Scoops & Spoons, a weekly free ice cream social held every Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. in Champion's Plaza. The free ice cream social runs all the way through September 4.
Haagen-Dazs is supplying the freebies, so you'll get your choice of one scoop of chocolate, vanilla, or dulce de leche ice cream, along with complimentary toppings so you can make your own custom Sundae.
Gulfstream's marketing director Alejandra Rudner told Clean Plate Charlie that "this family-friendly activity is the perfect way to cool down while enjoying the variety of shopping and entertainment options available at The Village of Gulfstream Park".
The ice cream social -- one tradition we're totally glad is making a comeback.
