The 11th annual Extreme Beer Fest was held this past weekend in the beer hub of the universe; Boston.
Hosted by BeerAdvocate and sponsored by Delaware's Dogfish Head Brewery, the festival aims to bring together breweries whose beers push the boundaries of brewing.
In that vein, two of our favorite South Florida beer producers were invited to join in the pouring: Due South Brewing Company and Funky Buddha Brewery. What these two local businesses found was an audience who couldn't get enough.

Users on BeerAdvocate commented that lines for pours weren't bad at all. Member aea1156 said, "Even during the peak Funky Buddha & Toppling Goliath which had the longest lines moved nicely," while user hikeeba wrote, "Funky Buddha's line doubled back on itself today. I timed 15 min for my wait (but it was well worth it!)"
As for the beers that were brought in, Funky Buddha Brewery came out strong with Veruca Snozzberry Gose, Last Snow (Coconut White Chocolate), Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, Nano-Nano Porter Porter (a collaboration with Dogfish Head), Randy's Old Fashioned Whiskey Barrel-Aged Ale, French Toast Double Brown Ale, and No Crusts (Peanut Butter and Jelly) Brown Ale.

Due South was getting some Boston love as well.
Pouring Maple Orange Imperial Caramel Cream Ale, Coconut Bay Breeze, Peppermint Paddy, and Barrel Aged Mariana Trench the team from Boynton Beach showed their strong culinary-inspired side.
