Hardy Park Bistro Kicks Off Pop-Up Summer Dinner Series Across South Florida

This summer, foodies can find a new and exciting dining experience from the well-known Fort Lauderdale establishment Hardy Park Bistro, which is hosting a series of pop-up dinners coined "Summer Nights X HPB" at several unexpected locations across South Florida in the coming months.

In 2013, chef-owner Philip Darmon and his wife opened Hardy Park Bistro, a casual dining house that today is best-known for its weekly rotating menu that highlights seasonal fare and offers unique takes on Mediterranean, Australian, and Asian cuisine.

Going one step further, Darmon says he crafted the summer dinner series to offer a new experience for guests and is excited to celebrate his new passion project, in addition to adding a breakfast menu alongside the bistro's lunch, brunch, and dinner offerings.

The Summer Nights dinner will take place the third Thursday and Friday of each month, beginning in July. Dinner includes a four-course, family-style meal with wine and beer pairings provided by Stacole Fine Wines and Stephens Distributing. The cost is $100 per person.

The premier Summer Nights dinner will be held on Thursday, July 23 at the Penthouse of North Beach Hotel located at 551 Breakers Ave. in Fort Lauderdale's North Beach Village. According to Darmon, the boutique hotel — just 500 feet from the beach — offers the perfect setting for the dinner series opening.

"We chose North Beach Hotel because we love the free-spirited, funky vibe of the village and the sense of beach community their team has created," said Darmon. "Each of our other locations will embody a similar feeling, yet be unique from one another in nature. We want to create an environment that is just as imaginative as the food we are serving."

The evening will open with a specialty cocktail hour, followed by conversation with the chef throughout the evening, and a family-style Mediterranean and Australian-themed meal limited to 60 diners. Moving forward, each dinner will offer a different menu and unique entertainment that celebrates creativity and spontaneity.
