Here's one for the WTF column: Tonight, you can get both pizza and legal advice at the same place. And the pizza costs more.

That's right, Humpy's Pizza (Wilton Manors' fourth favorite double-entendre establishment behind Bottoms & Tops, the Cubby Hole, and Dairy Queen) is serving free legal advice with its trademark pies. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the parlor will host a panel of expert attorneys who will answer any legal question tossed their way. The only catch is there is no catch: You don't even have to buy a slice of pizza. Just come in and ask away.

So let's say you're a high-profile Southern Baptist minister who's been embroiled in a sex scandal with a male prostitute AND you're really craving a piece of pepperoni pizza. Well, you've come to the right place.

The presiding attorney on hand will be Loring Spolter,

an employment law and DUI specialist who will hand-pick a panel of

rotating experts in various fields of law. Each week, there may be

corporate lawyers, real estate experts, or criminal attorneys. The

parlor plans on hosting guest speakers too.

Of course, the

obvious question is why would anyone want to receive legal advice in a

pizza parlor? The answer, according to Humpy's, is why not? Manager

Stephen told us, "We're trying to partner with local attorneys to

provide a way for cross

promotion from a business sense. Also people do have questions

about legal issues, and often they don't want to sign up for a whole

consultation with an

attorney. So we thought this might be an interesting avenue for a more

casual session."

Interesting

indeed. But it does raise a question of courtroom etiquette: If a

lawyer gives you free legal advice, should you buy him a slice?

We say yes.
