Does anyone remember the IHOP kangaroo? OK, then maybe Charlie's getting old. But if you're old enough to have kids, this is a good deal for you.
Every evening from 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. in August, kids under 12 get a free meal from IHOP's "Just for Kids" menu when an adult buys an entree.
IHOP's kids meals, are actually healthy (sort of), since the restaurant chain participates in the Kids Live Well program, sponsored by the National Restaurant Association (for a list of all participating restaurants, click here).
As part of the program, kids's meals are not more than 600 calories and while pancakes, cheeseburgers, and macaroni and cheese don't sound exactly like health food, remember this - it's a chance to not do the cooking and one little pancake dinner every once in a while never hurt anyone.
Adult pancake lovers can join IHOP's Pancake Revolution club, where members get certificates for a free meal upon signing up, on their birthday and on their anniversary - see? Someone remembers your birthday, after all.
