There, the live music isn't quite as loud as it was at Elwood's – this place has more polish, after all, with new high-top tables and a re-done, retro décor. But the booze flows just as freely, with a solid beer selection, including plenty of draft options.
To soak it all up, try JB's fab pulled-pork sandwich, complete with smoky pork, a sweet sesame bun, and a side of meat-filled baked beans. The burgers are messy and overloaded (just how Johnnie liked 'em), and the wings are gussied up with a plethora of cool sauces and spices like ancho bourbon and Cajun dry rub.
Prices are also dirt cheap, and the portions are huge, making Johnnie Brown's a perfect place to waste away a lazy afternoon.
