This week, we discovered the ultimate waterfront restaurant, an app that will deliver liquor to your door, several local breweries that are heading to Denver's Great American Beer Festival, and a serious poke restaurant that will be opening soon in Fort Lauderdale.

Needless to say, there are quite a few things to be excited about. Here they are, in no particular order:

6. Oktoberfest is Happening Across South Florida
It's Oktoberfest season, and celebrations are happening all over Broward and Palm Beach. From beer and bratwurst, here are the best in the area (including the country's second largest, which goes down right here in Lantana every year).

5. Get Any Booze, Beer, or Publix Sub Delivered to Your Door Thanks to This App
Shipt is one of several on-demand delivery services to launch in the past few months, but it does something the others can't: It allows you to shop for both groceries and liquor for delivery to your home or office.
4. Get Chef-Driven Poke Bowls and Poke Steamed Buns From the Poke House
Want a bottle of wine to enjoy with that poke bowl? You can have that and more at the Poke House, a new fast-casual restaurant slated to open October 3 in Fort Lauderdale.
3. Jupiter-Based Food Yacht Is the Ultimate Waterfront Restaurant
Jupiter's floating restaurant Food Yacht will serve you on-the-go-eats from the Intracoastal waterways. Don't want to paddleboard out to the boat for a snack? You can also take the boat out for a two-hour private pairing dinner.
2. Three Local Breweries Will Be Representing Florida in the Great American Beer Fest
Three breweries from Broward and Palm Beach Counties will be pouring at the 2016 GABF in Denver from October 6 to 8. In two weeks, Boca Raton's Barrel of Monks Brewing, Boynton Beach's Due South Brewing, and Oakland Park's Funky Buddha Brewery will be pouring the brews that make South Florida a craft beer destination.
1. The Ten Best Brunches in Fort Lauderdale
There are so many amazing new brunch spots in Fort Lauderdale, we had to revamp our list to make sure we weren't missing the best. Here are our picks for the top ten,  just in time for Sunday.
