Everyone has his or her own set of talents -- some are obviously more notable than others. Sure, your little brother is an awesome gamer, but no one actually cares.
A great mixologist, however, is something worth noting. Manny Alayeto of DaDa Restaurant & Lounge is one of the best around. As Delray Beach's premier mixer of mojitos, he is well-known for his perfectly muddled tropical drinks.
While you would think rum would be his thing, Alayeto is a self-proclaimed whiskey man and he's on a mission to educate. To help his cause, we asked for his tropical and refreshing -- yet whiskey-based -- Jack Daniel's Passion Fruit Margarita.

Most heavy drinkers cocktail enthusiasts have heard of Cointreau, the high-end triple sec -- i.e. orange flavored liqueur -- from Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou, France. Cointreau Noir is a blend of the original liqueur and Remy Martin cognac, the result of which results in a mellower orange flavor rounded out with soft vanilla and nutty notes.
Manny's Jack Daniels Passion Fruit Margarita:
1 Lime
1 1/2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar or simple syrup
2 1/2 Ounces Jack Daniels
1/2 Ounce Cointreau Noir
1 Ounce Passion fruit puree
Cut a soft lime into quarters and place it in a pint glass or cocktail shaker. Muddle the limes and add the agave nectar or syrup. Add the remaining ingredients and top off with ice. Shake well and enjoy!
