Paul Castronovo is best known as the wise-cracking morning show co-host of Big 105.9's Paul & Young Ron Show. On his top-rated morning show, Castronovo isn't shy about sharing his love of food, fishing and wine, so it's a natural progression for him to actually try his hand at winemaking.

His wine, Castronovo Vineyards Montepulciano, is described on the website as "Ruby colour with purple hue, firm, persistent nose, intensely fruity; bilberry, mulberry and plum notes followed by spicy and rich balsamic tones of vanilla and coffee. Full and fruity structure. It is a gentle and spontaneous wine, with sweet and velvety tannins, great aromatic, perfect from nose to mouth." The wine is aged six months and goes well with meats and cheeses.

The wine is grown and bottled in Italy, at the San Lorenzo winery in the Abruzzo region. Though known for being funny, it seems like Castronovo is taking his wine business seriously.

If you want to try some Castronovo Vineyards Montepulciano and get a bottle personally autographed by Castronovo himself, you'll have the opportunity when Whole Foods in Coral Springs hosts a wine tasting and bottle signing on Saturday, April 23rd from 2pm-4pm.
