October is finally upon us, and we couldn't be more excited. Why? Because it's finally time for season. And even though that means long lines at the hostess stand, stalking people leaving your favorite restaurant for their parking spot, and vigilantly defending your happy-hour standing spot at any downtown bar for the next five months, it also means a new batch of restaurants has opened to welcome the hungry masses. And it means new menus, chef specials, and plenty of dining events.

At least we have a few weeks left before season is in full swing. That's makes right now the best time to check out what's new to eat and drink around here. Hurry, while there's still a seat with your name on it.
