Every burger place seems to have its diehard followers. West coaster's swear by In-N-Out. South Floridian's freak out over BurgerFi. Other people love Smashburger. Whatever the case, there surely is no loss of options when it comes to finding a decent burger.
Well, Shake Shack has now descended upon Boca Raton. The New York based burger place, with a massive cult following, is opening its door to the general public of the sixth borough tomorrow.
Fortunately, we were able to sneak in this weekend for a preview.

The fast casual burger chain specializes in a selection of burgers, hot dogs, fries, and frozen custards. Beer and wine are available, including a beer specifically brewed for the chain by Brooklyn Brewery and wine exclusively bottled for the chain by Frog's Leap, Napa Valley.
Burgers are made of 100% Angus-beef with no hormones or antibiotics. A small menu ranges from a plain hamburger ($3.85) to SmokeShack with Niman Ranch applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper, and Shacksauce ($6.30 for a single) to the Shack Stack, a cheeseburger and a 'Shroom burger with lettuce, tomato, and Shacksauce ($8.95). A vegetarian 'Shroom Burger is also available.
Flat-Top Dogs are split and grilled. Options include a chicken dog ($4.40), plain hot dog ($3.00), Shack-cago dog with Rick's Pick Shack relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt, and mustard ($4.00), and more.
Aside from the beer and wine, drinks include specialties like Shack-made Lemonade ($2.50) and rare options like draught root beer by Abita Brewing Co. ($2.65).
For dessert, the spot offers a selection of frozen custards and shakes. Like all Shack Shake locations, this one features a special concrete--its version of a flurry or a blizzard--specific to the location. Starting at $4.25, the Mizner's Muze combines vanilla custard with cheesecake blonde, strawberry puree, and cinnamon marshmallow sauce. The Burrowing Banana mixes chocolate custard with a slice of The Sugar Monkey salted caramel banana cream pie. Glades Donuts swirls vanilla custard with The Sugar Monkey's glazed cake donut, peanut butter sauce, and chocolate toffee, from which 5% of all sales will be donated to support Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.
And for those looking to spread the junk food love to Fido, the spot sells dog treats starting at $3.75.
