The London 2012 Summer Olympics kick off on Saturday, and it'll be hard to not feel a bit like an undisciplined couch potato once you catch a glimpse of all those hard bodies in skimpy uniforms achieving amazing feats of strength, speed, and agility. You may pay for it on Wednesday morning, but Tuesday, July 24, is National Tequila Day. Celebrate accordingly at local Mexican restaurants like Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar in Fort Lauderdale, which will feature tequila-based specials throughout the evening.

Bar Louie Opening in West Palm Beach
The restaurant opens on Thursday at 200 Clematis St. in West Palm Beach. This will be the "soft opening": The grand opening will be celebrated Monday, July 30, through Sunday, August 5.
Deliver the Dream Fundraiser at the Village at Gulfstream Park
Young professionals group Generation Dream will host a food and drink event starting at 6 p.m. at the Village at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. Start out at Playwright Irish Pub for free apps and a free drink and happy-hour pricing until 8 p.m. Then, move on to Blu Sushi for an app and cocktail, plus dinner specials and gift raffles.
