Free Food During National Bagel Day

This week, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Panera Bread, and Brooklyn Water Bagels are giving away free food in celebration of National Bagel Day on Monday, February 9. At Einstein, get a free bagel and shmear with drink purchase with coupon. At Panera Bread, get a free bagel with purchase of a coffee, hot tea, espresso drink, or hot chocolate on Saturday through Monday at participating Palm Beach County restaurants. And Brooklyn Water Bagels is baking up an offer in celebration of National Bagel Day. On this special day, the restaurant is thanking its guests for their patronage by providing a free small order of its newest product, Bagel Tasters, ten bite-sized bagels, along with cream cheese, with any purchase. This offer is limited to one free order of Bagel Tasters per customer and will last all day or until supplies run out at participating locations. Think of them as the doughnut holes of the bagel world. For a complete list of restaurant locations, visit brooklynwaterbagels.com/locations.

Free Line Dancing Lessons

Mondays can be a little mundane. While the morning is the most maligned moment of the week, the evenings can follow in the torpor and continue to leave you drained of life. Come to think of it, those cowboy boots in the closet have been collecting dust since you entertained the idea of joining the rodeo years ago. Kill two birds with one stone by dusting off those boots and turning the vapidity of Monday night by joining ringleader and avid line dancer Lisa Spangler at the Firedog Saloon in Fort Lauderdale. At 8 p.m., Spangler hosts a free line-dancing lesson to saloon patrons, and then at 9, she switches over to a couples dance lesson. Swing your partner 'round and 'round, write bad checks all over the place, do-si-do! Free line-dancing lessons start at 8 p.m. Monday at the Fire Dog Saloon, 2871 E. Commercial Blvd., Fort Lauderdale; 954-533-6092.
