South Florida Food & Drink Events This Week: Oyster Fest, Trivia, Burgers, and Brews

The weekend might be over, but there are still plenty of weekday food and drink events in South Florida to keep you busy. Whether you're looking to eat some oysters, tour a grocery store, or play trivia, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Oktoberfests
It's officially Oktoberfest season, so check out our roundup of all the specials and events taking place throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Monday

Dine Out Fort Lauderdale
Today marks the last day for Dine Out Fort Lauderdale. This deal includes three-course dinners at the set price of $35. Participating restaurants include Beauty and the Feast, Chart House, 15th Street Fisheries and more. This ends October 12. Visit sunny.org/dineout.

Burger & a Brew at Tryst

LoveFest Talk & Taste
Whole Foods Market Davie (1903 S. University Dr., Davie) will showcase an hour-long tour to allow guests to see behind-the-scenes of the store. Samples, department Q&As, giveaways and prizes will be featured. The free tours start at 6 and 7 p.m. Visit EventBrite.com. 

Wednesday

Oyster Fest Day 1
G&B Oyster Bar’s (429 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) second annual Oyster Fest starts today. The first of the three-day event kicks off with a wine dinner. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the five-course land and sea inspired meal will be paired with King Estate portfolio selections. Admission is $95. Visit GAndBOysterBar.com.

Thursday

G&B Oyster Fest Day 2
G&B Oyster Bar is clearly going all out with their fest. Day two will feature bottomless Pearl Diver Oyster Saison, slurping contests, seven food stations, live music, and that’s just some of it. The fun starts at 6 p.m. under the food tent. Admission is $45.

Food Truck Invasion
Head over to Quiet Waters Park (401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach) at 5 p.m. to experience a food truck extravaganza. There will be more than 20 food trucks featuring comfort foods, fusion cuisine, deserts and more. This event ends at 9 p.m.

Trivia Night
Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery (2621 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton) will allow you to show off your knowledge of useless stuff with their trivia night. There is no cover and the event starts at 8 p.m.
