The weekend might be over, but there are still plenty of weekday food and drink events in South Florida to keep you busy. Whether you're wine tasting, enjoying a beer dinner or scoping out some food trucks, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Monday

Chef Paula DaSilva at 3030 Ocean

Guests at 3030 Ocean (3030 Holiday Dr., Fort Lauderdale) can enjoy Executive Chef Paula DaSilva’s favorite drinks at a discount. This includes half-off Bacardi Rum & Coke or La Marca Prosecco with the purchase of any entrée. This will be the chef’s last week before the kitchen closes for renovations and will last all week long starting this Monday, August 17 until Saturday, August 23. Visit 3030ocean.com.

Kegs and Cultures
Thanks to Whole Foods’ Certified Cheese Professional David Hall Funky Buddha beer experts, you can now be a beer and cheese connoisseur. The $15 class will allow attendees to learn and eat (of course) beer and cheese featured. The fun starts at 7 p.m. at Funky Buddha Brewery (1201 NE 38th St., Oakland Park). Visit funkybuddhabrewery.com.
