South Florida Food and Drink Events This Weekend: After Dark Food Market, Fresh Fest, and Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day Weekend Dinner
Adena Grill & Wine Bar in Gulfstream Park (900 Silks Run, Hallandale Beach) will be offering a specialty Valentine’s Day dinner menu all weekend long. Four seatings will be available: 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. The four course menu costs $75 per person and is by reservation only. The menu is available until Sunday. Call 954-464-2333. 

Artisan Food Market and Night in the Park
Peter Feldman Park (310 NE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale) will be hosting both an artisan food market and fun filled park night as well. The market aspect of the night will feature food trucks, fresh product, vegan options, locally made products and more. As for the Night in the Park aspect, there will be free beer and picnic. Board games, activities, blankets and chairs are permitted. This event is from 5 to 11 p.m. and recurs the second Friday of every month. Cost of entry is free. Yappy Hour 
Funky Buddha Brewery (1201 NE 38 St., Oakland Park) will be hosting Yappy Hour with SHARE: Shepherd Help and Rescue Effort. Participants who donate $5 will receive a wristband for discounted beer prices. This event is from 2 to 6 p.m. Visit funkybuddhabrewery.com. 

Third Annual Fresh Fest
Meyer Amphitheater (105 Evernia St., West Palm Beach ) will be hosting the Third Annual Fresh Fest will from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival is presented by Jackson Health Foundation and will showcase healthy food demonstrations, various types of fitness classes, art, music, workshops, and more than 60 vendors. There is no admission and all ages are welcome. Visit FreshFestFL.com.

Amore with Norma
A wine tasting will be presented before the 7:30 p.m. showing of the 19th century opera Norma at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts (201 SW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale). Broward Center Arts Ambassador and James Beard Award-winning wine authority Lyn Farmer will be present at the Performing Arts’ Intermezzo Lounge to speak about wine and how location affects the taste. Admission for the tasting package includes the opera, wine tasting, and access to the lounge along with the food and drinks featured. The food and drinks at the lounge will be prices at a 30% savings. Packages start at $32 per person. Valentine's Banquet for Singles
Single on Valentine’s Day? Not to worry! Chef's Kitchen and Smokehouse (2911 N. Military Trl., # E, West Palm Beach) will be hosting a dinner dedicated to being single and fabulous. Featured will be entertainment, games, live music, a silent auction and, of course, food by Chef's Kitchen and Smokehouse. Tickets are $30 and $35 at the door. Fresh Harvest Valentine’s Day Brunch
From 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., Fresh Harvest (5550 NW 40th St., Coconut Creek) will host a Valentine’s Day brunch featuring endless mimosas, sparkling wine and a pound of crab legs. Admission for adults is $35 while children 10 and under cost $17. Delicacies such as swordfish nicoise, sushi, salmon benedict and more will also be present. Call 954-977-6700.
