Oenophiles get all the love this week with several opportunities to swirl and sample -- and possibly, get a swerve on to -- the fermented grape at wine dinners and tastings throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties. Find details on these and other South Florida food and drink events this week after the jump.

Tonight

Food-truck invasion in Hollywood
The weekly food-truck invasion in downtown Hollywood includes familiar favorites like B.C. Tacos, Veggie Express, Mangia Mia, Monster Burgers, and Palate Party. The roundup is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and there's no cost to attend, but bring cash for the trucks. The rally is in Arts Park at Young Circle.

Tuesday

Lobster Fever
Every Tuesday in July, PB Catch (251 Sunrise Ave., Palm Beach) will run specials on lobster, including creative dishes like stuffed lobster, lobster gratin, and lobster macaroni and cheese. Dinner service starts at 5:30 p.m. Call 561-655-5558.

Thursday

Art of Wine and Food Series
What better setting to explore the artistry of the grape than in an art museum? The monthly Art of Wine and Food Series will look at "The Rose Lifestyle of St. Tropez" with at least three different wines and food pairings by chef Lenore Nolan-Ryan. The tasting is 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of Art|Fort Lauderdale. Read more about the event here.

Summer of Riesling Dinner
Market 17 will host a four-course wine dinner with each course paired with a different Riesling from the same vineyard. Dishes include a mizuna salad, Palmetto Creek pork belly and white water clams, and grilled wild elk loin. Seats are $75 per person plus tax and tip. The dinner is at 7 p.m. Call 954-835-5507, or click here to reserve a spot.

Traveling Plate Supper Club
Sorry to say, but tickets for the July dinner are gone: The event sold out in one evening of ticket sales, as it has each month. But let this serve as a reminder to start devising a plan on how to score a seat for the August dinner. Get more details about Traveling Plate Supper Club here.

Friday

Summer cheese class
Learn about the finer points of seasonal wine and cheese pairings at the Cheese Course in Mizner Park with a summer cheese and white wine course from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and will include instruction from the store's cheesemongers as well as local wine educator Steve Plaut. Reserve a spot here.
