When the weekend is over and Monday starts up the workweek grind, there's not much that can get you amped about the next five days ahead.

Unless, of course, you consider those two words guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone's face: Taco Tuesday. Just the word "taco," by itself, is a delight. But pair "taco" with a day of the week and what you have is a day of cheap, fast, delicious eats worth celebrating.

Whether you're looking for chicken, fish, beef, or pork, there's a South Florida eatery where you can find them come Taco Tuesday. Each week we'll highlight a different restaurant serving some super taco savings or just some really amazing meat and fish-stuffed tortillas.

Congratulations, you just found your new favorite day of the week: TGIT!

While some restaurants offer Taco Tuesdays with limited hours, Havana Hideout in Lake Worth is not one of them. Here, you can order all the tacos you can stuff your face with -- all day and all night -- for just $8.99.

"I have yet to see anyone take down more than ten tacos in one sitting," says Havana Hideout owner Shelly Earhart.

Challenge accepted: Simply take your pick of garlic-roasted pork, mojo pork, ground beef, or black bean served on a flour tortilla. Then load them up with sour cream and cheese for an extra 50 cents per taco and see if you can set a new record.

Show up from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and you'll also score on happy-hour drinks, including $4.50 pours of any of the restaurant's 16 craft microbrews on draft, wine, or house-made sangria in flavors like peach, mango, or triple berry. Not so fancy? The restaurant also offers $2.50 bottles of Bud Light and Miller Light all day long, every day.

Although Havana Hideout's specialty tacos (like the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives-featured annatto-rubbed grilled fish served in fried corn tortillas with pineapple salsa and a spicy chipotle) aren't available for the cheap-eats special, they're worth another visit any other day of the week. Maybe on Monday, when it's happy hour all day at Havana Hideout? That should give you yet another reason to eat more tacos -- as if you need one.

Havana Hideout is located at 509 Lake Ave., Lake Worth. Call 561-585-8444, or visit havanahideout.com.
