The Coral Square Mall is located at 9469 W. Atlantic Blvd. in Coral Springs. Call 954-755-5550, or visit simon.com/kidgits/.

4. Celebrate a Year of Soul

Most restaurants don't even make it a year. If one does, it should party hard to commemorate. Gigi's Music Cafe in Sunrise is about to beat the drum this Saturday. The restaurant is holding its one-year anniversary party starting at noon. From noon to 5 p.m., it is planning to host an outdoor family-friendly luau, but don't worry, the party moves inside at 5 p.m.. The evening celebration will feature the unveiling of a new wine based cocktail, which will be named via a Facebook contest.

If you're one of those people who has to check out every new spot, we have the inside scoop for you. 2. Sour Fest

Lambics and Flanders and Berliners. Oh my! Rather than fly out to Boulder for Avery's Annual Sour Fest, South Florida is getting a Sour Fest of its own this weekend at the Sybarite Pig. The mouth puckering festivities start Friday at 7 pm with the tapping of Cigar City's Siftung and Petrus Aged Pale. The events take place all weekend, but special tappings will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. with two of J. Wakefield's highly acclaimed Berliners, and Sunday at 5 pm with Mikkeller It's Alive. Admission is free.

The Sybarite Pig is located at 20642 State Road 7 in Boca Raton. Call 561-883-3200, or visit thesybaritepig.com.

1. The Hukilau

Whether you're into all things Polynesian -- or just cocktails -- the Hukilau is featuring a number of events that might just tickle your fancy. While there are events ranging from tiki bazaars to symposiums, we're most interested in the drink part. Friday from 2 to 5 pm, at the Tiki Treasure Bazaar in the Yankee Clipper (the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach), the festival is hosting Cocktail Mix Up with Angostura Rum & Bitters. On Saturday, the Mai Kai is hosting a special dinner show starting at 7 p.m. with special presentations and late-night entertainment. On Sunday at noon, the Mai Kai will be hosting another event with tropical cocktails, special entertainment, and a special viewing of Plastic Paradise, a documentary about modern tiki culture. At 3 p.m., the Mai Kai's Molokai Bar will be throwing a "Lost Cocktails" party, featuring three cocktails from the original 1956 menu.
