The Mack House Does Customer Appreciation Week, Anniversary Party, Starting June 24

Starting on Tuesday, June 24, the Mack House in Davie will set up deals and special tappings for a week's worth of fun. For Tuesday and Wednesday, happy hour will last until 9 p.m., meaning local beer seekers will find $2 off all Florida drafts.

Thursday, there will be a tapping of neighbors Funky Buddha Brewery's No Crusts starting at 7 p.m. This peanut-butter-and-jelly beer is one of the Buddha's highly lauded beers, ranking highly on BeerAdvocate, RateBeer, and other such beer rating sites. All I know is, when it gets released, people go nuts. Like peanuts.

The following night boasts a selection of limited Avery and Stone bombers (22-ounce bottles for you regular folk), and the 7 p.m. tapping of Wiregrass Post Prohibition Ale. This is the second year of the collaboration between Cigar City Brewing and Folklore Brewing and Meadery that was initially brewed last year to celebrate the 2013 legalization of home brewing in Alabama, where CCB's head brewer, Wayne Wambles, grew up and got his brewing start. It's described as "a hybrid of an American IPA and a Classic American Pilsner."

Saturday night will be the proving-ground showcase of onsite brewed beer with the release of Honey Lime Summer Ale, Maple Chipotle Brown, Oaked Downpour IPA, Mango Blonde, and the Nib Slip Anniversary Ale. In addition, there will be some offsite brewed beer like Stone's Enjoy By 7/4/14. Every beer purchased will get the purchaser entered into a raffle, with prizes from local restaurants and beer stores.

After all of that, the Mack House figured you'd need some hair of the dog with happy hour all day on Sunday and a tapping of Sea Cow Milk Stout from Saltwater Brewing, making it one of the first bars in Broward County to feature the Delray Beach brewery.

For five days of deals and more deals, it looks like a mighty fine time to be a customer at the Mack House.
