After Executive Chef Mark Militello was ousted at the Office, two new chefs have stepped in to take his place.

Executive Chef Larry LaValley will now run the kitchen at the popular new gastropub. LaValley previously served as chef de cuisine at the South Beach location of Militello's ersatz eatery, Mark's, and did a turn at Nemo's before following Militello to 1 Bleu. He will also head the kitchen operations at David Manero's other Delray Beach eatery, Vic & Angelo's.

The Office's chef de cuisine will be Frances Connor Deskin, who, like LaValley, worked with Militello before joining the Office. Deskin was executive chef at East City Grill in Weston before becoming executive sous to Militello at One Bleu.

Since both chefs have already been hands-on with the menu, the transition should be fairly seamless. You do have to wonder, though, if the pair won't follow Militello wherever he surfaces next.
