Your favorite craft beer mecca in Broward County will soon be making itself bigger.
In a recent segment on Miami Herald's Brew in Miami video series, Riverside Market owners Lisa and Julian Siegal shared the news with host Evan Benn.

"We're expanding Riverside," Lisa Siegal explained. "We're opening up across the street a beer shop where you can come in, grab your beer, and go. We'll also be able to offer our classes there... Riverside Market has the Beer 101 classes and the Beer University; we're going to be able to offer those there."
Julian Siegal chimed in, "It won't take away from our regular floor business at Riverside Market."
When will this change occur?
"Hopefully early fall."
The building in question is an old 7-Eleven right across the street, with ample parking, as Julian explains it. It's that shuttered façade with "Bay Side Market" on the sign. Soon, the eyesore will join Riverside to make up what we can only imagine at this point to be a multifaceted craft beer destination in Fort Lauderdale.
If you've ever been to the Riverside Market, you know that at times it can be a hassle to find a seat, especially on the weekends or when special events are going on. Parking can be difficult as well, and showing up early is definitely something to do when making plans to head there.
Now, with these changes, we can hope that a lot of these annoyances can be alleviated. We always love to go there and hope to see you at the opening celebrations.
