Don't rock the vote, baby. Eat it. That's what Wilton Manors mayor and Stork's Bakery and Café owner Jim Stork wants you to do. On November 4, he sponsored a dessert reception at Religious Science Fort Lauderdale (1550 NE 26th St., Wilton Manors, 954-566-2868) to earmark the Eat the Vote campaign. This nonprofit, nonpartisan voting-incentive drive takes place through November 10. Show proof of voting in the November 5 election or your voter's registration card at Stork's or any of the other 30-odd participating eateries (see www.eatthevote.com) and you're eligible to receive a free dessert, appetizer, or beverage. Now that's what I call gratuitous politics.
