You know the saying - it's no use to cry over spilled wine...or something like that. But what if it's 6,810 bottles of wine. That's something to cry over.
That's exactly what happened at Superior Discount Liquors in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. According to ABC News, a 31-year old shelf collapsed at the store, sending almost 7,000 bottles of wine crashing to the floor in a flood of red.
Though the store hasn't released a dollar figure, the bottles ranged from a $2.99 bottle of hooch to Dom Perignon at $149.99 a bottle.
According to the store manager, Lori Gregoire, employees were wading in over an inch of wine, with the libation pouring out into the street in a river of wasted dreams.
The store has an incredibly good sens of humor about all of this (possibly due to the fact that they got a settlement check from the insurance company) and released the store video of the wine accident. Go ahead and cry...and laugh.
