Whole Foods Market is expanding their South Florida presence with the opening of four new shops in the coming months.
The Austin, Texas-based grocer that specializes in organic foods, vegan goods, and sustainable seafood, has just announced several new locations, including stores in Downtown Miami, Pompano Beach, Davie, and West Palm Beach.

Juan Nunez, president of Whole Foods' Florida Region says, "we are thrilled to be expanding our presence in South Florida." Each location will feature local, natural, and organic food options and, according to Nunez, "give back to the local communities that have embraced us."
The first location to open will be at 299 SW Third St. in Downtown Miami. The 41,00 square foot store will open on Wednesday, January 14. Shortly following, Whole Foods Market will open at 2411 N. Federal Hwy in Pompano Beach on Wednesday, January 28.
On February 11, the Davie location will open at 1903 University Drive. The Davie shop willreplace the current Plantation Whole Foods Market. Finally, on February 25, Whole Foods will open a shop at 1845 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., Building C. All three stores will range between 40,000 - 41,000 square feet and will feature a large selection of craft beers, prepared foods, and cheeses.
There are currently more than 360 Whole Foods Markets in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, with about two dozen locations throughout Florida.
