Win two tickets to this years JVC Jazz Festival in Miami beach. Festival Network, LLC is proud to announce the 2008 JVC Jazz Festival Miami. On May 16 and 17, the festival will take over Miami, marking the first time that this popular jazz festival will take place entirely outdoors, with performances in Downtown Miami and South Beach. The festival kicks-off on Friday evening with soul pop acoustic guitarist Raul Midón and German-based jazz/house fusion DJ Rainer Trüby at The Oasis at The Raleigh Hotel. The combination of Midón and Trüby was carefully chosen to represent a mix of jazz, soul and electronic music from around the world. Saturday evening will feature an eclectic mix of bossa nova, pop and jazz at majestic Bayfront Park Amphitheater. The lineup will include the Grammy® Award winning Sergio Mendes, R&B singer/songwriter Anthony Hamilton, Brazilian artist Jorge Ben Jor and the Grammy® nominated artist Ledisi, followed by a late night jazz and DJ combo, The Yoruba Soul Jazz Sessions, consisting of Osunlade and the Yoruba Soul Orchestra featuring Siji, with DJ sets by Osunlade and Djinji Brown at The Oasis at The Raleigh Hotel.
