Psychic on the Lam Totally Called ItThe Broward Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for Gina Marie Marks, a psychic who they say ripped off her clients by promising to cleanse their souls. First off, the last time I went to Gina Marie Marks for a soul cleansing, she totally called this! I mean, she didn't say specifically that deputies would be chasing her on fraud charges. What she technically said was that the minor charge I'm facing for streaking through the Galleria Mall will result in some comm

The Broward Sheriff's Office sent out a press release yesterday afternoon boasting "Young Thelma and Louise Back Behind Bars." A pair of 20-year-old girls were arrested after stealing and crashing a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Thing is, this is the 12th time Erica Eisworth has been booked into the Broward County Jail since March 2007. It's the third time her accomplice Fallon Panton has been a guest at the BSO resort. The BSO has put together a pretty interesting composite of the ladies' mug shots, which

The Broward Sheriff's Office steroids case had been sitting in the agency without action for months before a sergeant took it to the State Attorney's Office, according to a source. The details are sketchy but apparently a sergeant who was about to be transferred took the case to the State Attorney's Office. Prosecutors then went to internal affairs which restarted the investigation. Without confirmation, I'm not naming the sergeant, but the basic facts betray an agency that is incred

  • Murder Victim's Infiniti Missing

The Broward Sheriff's Office is hoping that the public will help solve a murder. Last night, friends of 68-year-old Larry Ellison wondered why he didn't show up for a planned dinner. They stopped by his townhouse on NE 19th Street in Wilton Manors only to make a terrifying discovery -- his body.  BSO is ruling the case a homicide. Neighbors did not immediately return calls. Detectives noted that Ellison's vehicle -- a silver 2005 Infiniti FX35 like the one pictured above -- is missing. It h
