4th Annual American Fine Wine Competition Saturday, February 12th at Pier Sixty-Six
How would you like the opportunity to taste 600 of the finest wines produced in the United States in one night? The 4th Annual American Fine Wine Competition at the Hyatt Pier Sixty Six promises just that. Any of the 600 wines in the competition can be tasted, poured tableside by "Wine Angels"accompanied by a wine-inspired four course dinner prepared by the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six chefs.
This competition was created to generate awareness of hundreds of amazing wines produced in the U.S., many of which are from small independent boutique wineries. The event is this Saturday, February 12th at 6pm.
Entertainment for the night includes guest Emcee Alan Kalter, announcer for The Late Show with David Letterman, performance artist Michael Israel, Dayve Stewart & the Vibe, and Temptations singer Richard Street and his new 'Temptations' Band. Guests will have a chance to win a 2011 Lexus and a diamond necklace and to participate in a silent auction featuring many of the wines in the competition.
Tickets are $200 per person. A portion of tickets sales and the live auction and 100% of the silent auction benefits the Diabetes Research Institute and the Sun Sentinel Children's Fund. For more information, contact Shari Gherman at email@example.com
