It's a party in Boca at Bash restaurant and nightclub (5970 SW 18th St.; 561-447-7171), a just-opened hot spot in the old Gatsby's location at the southern edge of Palm Beach County in Boca Raton.

A $500K redo by veteran nightlifer John Naimi created a space that can hold up to 400 people in a dining room, hookah room, billiards room/lounge, and bar. There's a dance floor too, with DJs and live music Wednesday through Sunday.

Oh, and there's also a restaurant, cheffed by Anthony Alvarez, late

of Capriccio's. He's not reinventing the culinary wheel with a menu of

dishes like coconut shrimp, Asian-style lettuce wraps, a handful of

pizzas and flatbreads, and entrées ranging from burgers to pan-seared

salmon.

But then, you'll probably be partying too hard to notice anyway.
