The chain opened its first location in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea just two years ago, and quickly expanded throughout the state and into Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, New York, and Connecticut. The restaurant plans to open 150 locations nationwide, in what they term "BurgerFication"

In addition to its custom-made burgers, BurgerFi offers specialty hot dogs, fresh-cut French fries, oversized onion rings, concretes, craft beer, and wine.

Each BurgerFi is decorated with furniture made from recycled materials, and most feature indoor and outdoor seating.

BurgerFi

gained some publicity in recent months for attracting celebrity diners.

Just before the Presidential debates at nearby Lynn University, Republican candidate Mitt Romney dropped in for a meal, and more recently bombshell Sofia Vergara dined at the burger joint in Delray Beach.
