It's quite a simple concept, really. Take a spicy chicken sandwich, substitute a biscuit for the bun, and serve it for breakfast. While pig is normally the morning meat, Chick-fil-A's genius idea to wake up to chicken is incentive enough to go back to nourishing my body for the most important meal of the day.

Today, Chick-fil-A launches the spicy chicken breakfast biscuit ($2.09) to heat hoarders nationwide. The spicy chicken sandwich arrived in May 2010. Now, the sandwich makes its early-bird debut, combining the famous spicy sandwich with soft, buttery biscuits. How we've all made it this far and not had a spicy chicken biscuit for breakfast will forever remain a mystery. Fret no longer. It is here now, and there is no time like the present.

Last week, Chick-fil-A featured the new breakfast sandwich to customers who reserved a spot through its website. Seth Poor, owner of the Chick-fil-A store in Pompano Beach, says to keep an eye out for spicy chicken nuggets next year, continuing the legacy of what could very well be America's best spicy chicken meal.
