Warning: If you have a tough time making decisions, do not, I repeat, do not go to Flip's Ice Café (2233 E. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, 954-782-1414). This new ice cream parlor offers 120 flavors and will even make custom flavors to order. Best of all, the café has frozen treats for every level of the lactose-tolerant -- or intolerant, as the case may be. Got low cholesterol? Choose from the range of American-style ice cream. Prefer something a bit lighter? The gelato is traditional, with additional seasonal flavors like Champagne fig or pumpkin pecan. "Cream ices" combine a quarter of the bulk, and the remaining 40 flavors are all water ices in flavors that range from guava to green apple. As far as sizes go, you can get a single or double flip, a half-pike, and even a full gainer. One thing's for sure, though -- trying all 120 flavors will probably result in a belly flop.
